About Questro

Questro is a browser-based toolkit for the screens and controls a team runs during a live event: a countdown timer for stage and confidence screens, moderated audience Q&A, a teleprompter with remote script control, and AI live captions with real-time translation. Every workflow splits into a public display link for the room and a private control link for the operator, so what the audience sees and what the crew touches are never the same page. Nothing is installed on venue machines. Questro suits conferences, town halls and all-hands, webinars, livestreams, panels, trainings, award programs, and rehearsals — events that need professional control over what is on screen without a heavyweight enterprise platform. It is built and maintained by the Questro Team.

Questro is not ticketing, registration, or attendee check-in software. It is not a streaming or webinar platform; it sits beside your stream rather than carrying it. It is not a polling, quiz, survey, or word-cloud tool: audience input in Questro means questions a moderator approves, not live polls. It is not an event management or agenda-publishing system, though a run of show can be imported into the timer queue. And the AI Captions produces text, not audio: it shows captions and translated captions on a screen, with no synthesized voice, earpiece, or receiver. It is not a substitute for a professional interpreter in high-stakes legal, medical, or diplomatic settings, where human review or a professional interpreter is the right choice.

On event day the operator keeps the private links and the room gets the public ones. Timer control, Q&A moderation, teleprompter operation, and caption setup all live on operator pages, while display links go to stage screens, shared monitors, and attendee phones. Links are issued per capability, and Timer and Q&A links can be regenerated, which invalidates the ones already shared. Free plans expect the account owner to run the tools; paid plans add guest links so a colleague can moderate questions or drive the timer without a Questro login. Because everything is a URL, links can be opened and checked on the exact venue devices during rehearsal instead of being discovered for the first time with a full room.
