Operator note
If you have operated a live script before, you know the display is only half the job. The real work is matching the scroll speed to the speaker. Rehearse one paragraph at the real speaking pace, then set the operator device where the person controlling the script can hear the speaker clearly.
Step-by-step
Create or open a teleprompter Start a quick teleprompter or enable Teleprompter on an event. Each teleprompter holds one script. Switching between multiple scripts is not available yet.
Write or paste the script Type or paste on the operator page. Paste arrives as plain text. There is no separate editor and no formatting toolbar. Autosave keeps the script current.
Open the display link Open Display on the speaker device, monitor, tablet, or teleprompter glass rig.
Control from Operator Use Operator to play, pause, return to the top, scroll manually, change speed, adjust font size, mirror, and flip. At the end of the script, Start from beginning plays from the first line.
